Overview of Egypt’s 2025 Japan University Scholarship Program.

The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) in association with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) are to present the E-JUST TICAD8 African Scholarships for Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) for the 2025 academic year. We have put together this program to develop quality human resources in STI areas and to build up a strong African STI community for the future.

Which groups are eligible for the 2025 Egypt-Japan University Postgraduate Scholarships?

To be considered for the E-JUST TICAD8 Scholarship which is put forth you must:.

Be scientists or academics (of those that aspire to be) pursuing an M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Science or Engineering.

To be a citizen of any African country except Egypt.

Live in an African country at the time of application.

Not be serving in the military.

Satisfy all admission requirements and pass the academic interview and oral exam.

Preference is given to those which plan to go back to their home universities or institutions upon completion of the program; also in such cases we require an endorsement letter from the home institution.
