Report on Barau Jibrin 2025 Domestic Postgraduate Scholarship Program.

The Barau Jibrin Foundation has put forth its 2025 Domestic Postgraduate Scholarship Program which is to promote academic excellence and capacity building among Nigerian students. We see this as an initiative which will give 300 of Kano State’s top graduates a chance to get into elite Nigerian universities to pursue their master’s degrees. Also this program is aimed at promoting innovation and growth in high need fields which in turn will fulfill the Foundation’s mission for educational and technological progress in Nigeria.

Which groups are eligible for the Barau Jibrin 2025 Domestic Postgraduate Scholarship Program?

To be eligible for this scholarship which criteria you must meet:.

Be under 35 years of age.

Held a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields with a CGPA of at least 3.5 out of 5.0.

Possess a five unit set of O’Level credits which should include English and Math.

How Are Applicants Selected?

Selection into the scholarship is based on academic merit and we also require that all necessary documents be submitted. We look for applicants which display great promise in their fields of study and a dedication to the growth of knowledge and innovation in Nigeria.

This scholarship is available only to Nigerian students from Kano State.

What does the Barau Jibrin Foundation 2025 Domestic Postgraduate Scholarship Program offer?

The scholarship pays for full tuition in selected master’s programs at top Nigerian universities. By which the financial burden of post graduate education is lessened the program enables students to put all their effort into academic and professional success.

How Long Will the Award Last?

The scholarship covers the time frame of the recipient’s master’s program which is usually from one to two years.
