Overview of O. B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation Scholarship in Law program.

The O. B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation Law Scholarship is a very elite program we put out to support the up and coming legal professionals in Nigeria. We established this with the goal of improving access to quality education which the program does by way of providing financial assistance and also the basic resources that will see students through to success in the Nigerian Law School. Also what we have done is to put in place a structure which is very much geared towards indigenous of Rivers State that have shown academic prowess and are also very dedicated to the legal profession.

Which students qualify for the O. B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation Law Scholarship?

To be awarded this scholarship applications must meet the following criteria:.

Be an indigene of Rivers State.

Have obtained my LLB from a federal or state university.

Achieved entry into the Nigerian Law School.

Hold a First Class or Second Class Upper degree. Also we also consider applicants of Kalabari origin which have a Second Class Lower degree.

Fields of Study Covered:

This scholarship is for students in the Nigerian Law School.

Universities Included in the Program: In which Universities:.

The award goes to graduates from federal or state universities in Nigeria. Private university graduates do not apply.

Selection Process for Applicants:

The application process is very competitive and we base it on academic merit. We give preference to those with outstanding academic records which also includes Kalabari which have a Second Class Lower degree.

LLB Certificate or Statement of Result.

Academic Transcript.

State of Origin certificate.

Any other materials as per the Foundation.

Benefits of O. B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation Scholarship:

Scholars that we award the grant to may use it for:

A grant of ₦120,00 which is for education expenses.

A new laptop for academic work and research.

Duration of the Scholarship: Scholarship Term:.

The scholarship is for the full term of the recipient’s study at the Nigerian Law School.
