The in 2026 The University of Pavia in association with EDiSU (Institute of the Right to University Studies) is to present the CICOPS Research Scholarships which aim to see out the issue of international collaboration for which they will support researchers out of developing countries. This is a great chance for academic professionals to come to the University of Pavia in Italy to do short term research. Which students qualify for the 2026 CICOPS Research Scholarships?
The program is available to junior and senior academic staff from developing countries. We see at least 2 years’ experience in related research or teaching required. It is also important to note that at present students in a Doctorate or post graduate program at an Italian university are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility by Country

Benefits of 2026 CICOPS Research Scholarships.

Weekly financial support of €150 (gross).

Duration of the Scholarship
The scholarship which is for a research stay of 4 to 12 weeks based on the type and size of the research project we are funding that is very flexible for scholars to run their in depth research agendas out of which also comes time for collaboration with the host department.
