The award is need based and covers tuition and living costs according to the student’s financial need.
Eligibility and Application: Applicants must have their high school put forth a nomination and also they must meet UBC’s admission requirements. The scholarship is renewable for as many as three extra years of undergraduate study which is if the student does well academically.
3. McGill University which also is known as Université de Montréal (in French).
Scholarship Program: McGill entrance scholarships.

Dalhousie University which is a preeminent research institution in Nova Scotia is a part of the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships program. This government funded scholarship which is aimed at doctoral students that display leadership and academic excellence. The scholarship which is for $50,000 per year for three years which covers tuition, living costs, and research expenses is available to both Canadian and international students pursuing a Ph.D. in any field.
Eligibility and Application: Applicants are put forth by the universities they are applying to and must present academic excellence, research promise, and leadership in their application. The application process which also includes putting together a research proposal and obtaining strong recommendation letters.
