They should have a full ride (e.g. RTP or the like).

Their research project should use ANSTO facilities or expertise.

The award is available for both local and international students.

Applicants should not be employed by ANSTO or AINSE during the term of the award.

Master's students are not eligible.

Eligibility by Country


International there is no national restriction for this. For international students what we have is that they are in a PhD program at a recognized AINSE member university in Australia or New Zealand and also that they meet all other requirements.

Duration of the Scholarship
